Community
The stories that find me aren't easy ones to hold. This page exists because some stories demand to be witnessed. Not consumed as entertainment, not collected as inspiration, but truly seen and honored for what they are: acts of profound courage from people who refuse to let their pain exist in isolation.
What started as a simple invitation—"your voice matters, your story matters"—has become something I never expected. A space where survivors of religious trauma, medical abuse, childhood neglect, domestic violence, and systemic betrayal find the courage to break decades of silence. Where shame transforms into strength, where isolation gives way to connection, where one person's truth creates permission for others to speak theirs.
These aren't just stories. They're lifelines thrown across the darkness between one survivor and another. They're proof that healing is possible, that survival has meaning, that the very experiences meant to destroy us can become the foundation for protecting others.
Every account shared here represents someone choosing vulnerability over safety, truth over silence, healing over hiding. They've trusted me with their most painful memories, and I've tried to honor that trust by holding their words with the reverence they deserve.
If you're here because you recognize yourself in these experiences, know this: you're not alone in carrying what you carry. Your story matters too. And when you're ready—if you're ever ready—there are people who will believe you, support you, and remind you that surviving is sacred work.

Survivor Voices
These are the messages that remind me why authentic storytelling matters. Each one represents a moment of connection between trauma survivors who refuse to let their pain have the final word. When we share our stories, we light candles in each other's darkness.
