I don’t know how to continue in this life anymore. I dismantled the life I had built in pursuit of true love, only to discover it was nothing but a foolish fairytale. The cruelest part is that I found someone so close to perfection that, for a time, I truly believed the story could be real. Having stood that close to someone so extraordinary, I know I’ll never meet anyone who comes as near again—and that realization has destroyed me.
