I’m sorry if you’re seeing my posts a lot and don’t know why.
I don’t know why either. I don’t understand the algorithm. I just make pictures and post how I’m feeling in that moment.
I’m sorry that, for some reason, my posts seem to ruin so many people’s days.
I’m sorry people feel like my posts are getting “shoved down their throat.”
I’m sorry people think I just post for attention and validation.
And heck, maybe deep down, that’s the truth?
I grew up being ignored and talked over, so I grew into the quiet, shy girl who listens and doesn’t interject. But I’ve always had a lot to say.
So now I speak.
And for some reason, the algorithm has given me a megaphone. And admittedly, it feels good to finally be listened to.
I feel like I have important things to say, despite people telling me I’m a worthless human being or a waste of space. And maybe people follow my posts because they think it’s cringe content. I don’t know.
I was a girl who grew up feeling like I wasn’t allowed to take up any space. Now I’m a woman who would just like to have a spot in this world where I’m allowed to exist and share my thoughts.
I’m sorry that’s so bothersome to so many people.
I wish my words would at least spark some thought, or make someone feel heard in their own way because I’m saying something they’ve felt but never knew how to say themselves. I wish I could help be a roadmap through difficult times, especially for people trying to find their way through things I’ve already lived through.
That’s all I want.
I’m not trying to upset people. So I’m sorry if my posts keep showing up everywhere and it’s annoying. I just wanted to finally have a space where I get to say what’s on my mind.
I just want a spot in this world where I’m allowed to be myself.
I’m sorry that seems to be so painful for some people.
